Our Sight: Improving Detection and Support
for Older People with Sight Loss
We’re running an interactive workshop
about sight loss in later life as part of the University of Sheffield’s ‘Life:
A Festival of Health from Head to Toe’ and you’re invited to join us.
Taking place on Thursday 21st
April from 11.00am – 2.00pm at St Mary’s Church and Conference Centre, Bramall
Lane, Sheffield, S2 4QZ, this workshop is for older people and their advocates health
and social care practitioners; commissioners; researchers and anyone with an
interest in supporting older people with sight loss.
We are looking at developing ways to
improve detection and access to support for older people with sight loss in
Sheffield. The workshop will be facilitated by health and social care
researchers, professionals, and older adults who are all working together as
part of this new project. The project is part of a collaboration between the
School of Health and Related Research and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation
Trust.
