Project Tango
A new piece of technology is being developed and it's aim is to track the surrounding 3D environment in real time. This technology could enable visually impaired people to navigate unfamiliar places, enable people to not get lost in unfamiliar buildings, find a product in a supermarket without searching for it on foot or even measure the dimensions of your home just by walking around before furniture shopping.
