On 8th November 2013 RAT Group member Becky Field, (Research Associate, Occupational
Therapist) gave a talk about the 'Valuing Active Life in Dementia'
study. This was part of "Dementia: the facts", a Sheffield Teaching
Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS
Foundation Trust event. Talks included informaiton on new drug developments, how to make inpatient wards more dementia friendly as well as a booklet which aims to help staff better understand the needs of inpatients with dementia. The event was attended by over 120 people,
including school children, members of the public, voluntary sector and healthcare professionals. For more information about the event please click here.
