T4I2017: CALL for Short Communications Now Open (Deadline: 26.05.2017)

We invite those working to use or innovate Assistive Technology and associated services to submit short communications for presentation or as posters for Technology for Independence (T4I 2017).

This year the conference will happen on Friday 15th September as part of the AAATE2017 Congress (11th to 15th Sept. 2017). Visit the website.

RATs at RAatE

At the end of November, several members of the RAT group attended the Recent Advances in Assistive Technology and Engineering (RAatE) conference in Coventry.

•  Professor Mark Hawley was invited to give a keynote speech on The relationship between assistive technology service provision and AT research and development. 

• Dr Peter Cudd co-ordinated and presented at a showcase of European research, exploring the potential connection between RAatE and the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe

• Dr Simon Judge chaired a session on service developments in assistive technology

• Professor Pam Enderby presented on Reviewing Outcome Measures.
