Cockroach to the rescue?

A group of US researchers believe that cockroaches could be make valuable members of a rescue team for disaster relief.

It is a well established fact that cockroaches are true survivors. They can take up to 15times the radiation levels that humans can take before they die and can live a whole month without food! 

Taking these facts into consideration, researchers in the US have devised a electronic packs that include a microphone and a wireless transmitter. The cockroaches can be set free in a particular location and could locate people that are trapped in rubble.
