Fully funded PhD Studentship - recruiting now!

The Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology research group within the School of Health and Related Research, University of Sheffield is very pleased to be able to announce the award of a full time PhD studentship from Abbeyfield Trust.

The funding will enable a full time PhD student to spend three years studying the use of telemedicine for remote health care provision by care homes for older people.  This is an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher interested in the treatment and care of older people and also how technology might contribute towards health care provision.

Abbeyfield is a substantial housing and care provider as well as funding research into care and treatment.  They are excellent partners for our research team and through this study we envisage a highly productive partnership going forwards.
