CLAHRC YH Website now LIVE!

You may remember back in October 2013, it was announced that £24 million was awarded to improve the regions health and wellbeing by funding a second Collaboration for Leadership and Applied Health Research and Care (CLAHRC). Whilst it is worth noting that there is more than 1 CLAHRC in the UK, we would like to make you all aware of the CLAHRC YH (Yorkshire and Humber) CLAHRC. This collaboration is made up of many many partners from Univeristies, charities, local authorities and the Academic Health Science Network (AHSN), Yorkshire and Humber.

CLAHRC YH is made up of 9 innovative themes:

• Telehealth and Care Technologies (TaCT)
• Avoiding Attendance and Admissions in Long Term Conditions
• Evidence based transformation with the NHS
• Health Economics and Outcome Measurement
• Healthy Children, Healthy Families
• Mental Health Co-mobidities
• Primary care-based management of frailty in older people
• Public Health and Inequalities
• Translating Knowledge into Action 

The new CLAHRC YH website is now live and is a work in progress. CLAHRC YH is a 5 year programme of research so do keep checking the website!
