CATCH has announced an exciting workshop that will form part
of its renowned Networking Lunch series.
There is the tremendous potential for music to help people
in care and new technologies, such as robotics and AI, are opening entirely
novel possibilities. Realising the potential of bringing music and new, smart
technologies together for the benefit of people in care will require a
significant, collaborative, cross-disciplinary effort.
This workshop aims to bring together those researchers at
the University interested in these topics to start a dialogue to address this
exciting challenge and to lay foundations for future research bids in this
area.
All are welcome to attend but the workshop is mainly of
interest to those who want to take part in a discussion on Music, Robotics and
AI for Care.
Please note that unlike previous CATCH networking lunches,
which contain informal talks as well as time for networking, this event will
start with a 30-minute networking lunch followed by a 2-hour formal workshop.
If you just want to attend the lunch this is fine, please indicate this on the
booking page.
To find out more information about the workshop and to book
your place please use our Eventbrite link.
We look forward to seeing you there for a fantastic lunch,
discussion and workshop.
If you require any more information, please contact Suzanne Lightfoot.
The lunch and workshop will be held in Design Studio 2
(E05), Pam Liversidge Building, Mappin Street, S1 3JD.
