6th IN-LIFE meeting takes place in San Sebastian

The 6th IN-LIFE meeting took place on the 20-21st June in San Sebastian, Spain.


IN-LIFE is a multidisciplinary European project to promote independence for people living with cognitive impairment using ICT’s. 

Sheffield is one of six pilot sites including Spain, Netherlands, Greece, Slovenia and Ireland. The IN-LIFE partners aim to meet every 4-6 months to discuss project status, upcoming deliverables, technical issues and subsequent actions. The University of Sheffield was represented by Dr Sarah Kate Smith who presented the current status of the Sheffield pilot site to consortium members.


IN-LIFE is now in its final year and will conclude in January 2018 after the recruitment of over 400 participants in each site and the development and testing of numerous interventions to support independent living. The final IN-LIFE meeting is expected to take place towards the end of this year.
