LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) facilitator training course

Dr Jack Parker – Research Fellow and TaCT Theme Manager completed a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) facilitator training course uses LEGO® to facilitate communication, problem solving, and effective meetings.
Participants build their own 3D model to answer questions through metaphor. By utilising visual, auditory and kinesthetic skills, the Method requires participants to learn and listen, and it provides all participants with a voice. The method serves as a shared language regardless of culture or position.
LSP Facilitators
LSP has previously been used successfully in TaCT for the Peripheral Neuropathy and Intelligent Shoe projects whereby public and patient involvement group members and therapists were able to provide their perspectives on how technology may facilitate self-managed rehabilitation. Dr Jack Parker aims to provide a LSP workshop for NIHR CLAHRC YH in the near future to demonstrate the use(s) of LSP in research.
