Evaluation of complex health and care interventions The Nuffield Trust has published a guide for evaluators on evaluation of complex health and care interventions using retrospective matched control methods (Davies et al 2015). The guide suggests that this method can deliver a robust evaluation ‘to assess the impact of changes on outcomes and costs over time’.
