Dem@Care - EU Project and Expert Opinion

RAT Group's Professor Gail Montain was invited to and provided an expert view on a large EU funded project (Dem@Care) that is coordinated by CERTH - The Centre for Research and Technology Hellas.

This took place in Thessaloniki, Greece on Friday, June 5th.

About the project: Dementia Ambient Care: Multi-Sensing Monitoring for Intelligent Remote Management and Decision Support is a project that aspires to contribute to the timely diagnosis, assessment, maintenance and promotion of self-independence of people with dementia, by deepening the understanding of how the disease affects their everyday life and behaviour. In the context of the project, we are inviting experts from related fields to join our next project meeting as members of an Advisory Board so as to present them our research and results and gather their feedback to further improve our work. Further information can be found here: (Dem@Care).

The project team presented their latest achievements, key findings, and remaining issues of Dem@Care to which Professor Mountain provided her feedback.
