Glucose monitorring system - first to be approved by FDA
The first ever glucose monitoring device that can be used with smartphones has been approved by the FDA. The device uses a small "wirelike" sensor underneath the skin that transmits data by a secure wireless low energy Bluetooth connection. This enables the user to be tracked by up to 5 people (of their choice).
