This highlight notice seeks to support the development of reliable tools to assess the quality of life of carers of those who have cognitive impairment in the domestic environment. This is because there is a need to establish a system for carers using "gold standard" psychometric techniques. Validated approaches are required that can assess the quality of life in this population so that these can be used for economic evaluations in the future. Projects may last for a maximum of three years.
