AgeUK have launched a new event this month; THE BIG CHINWAG. The aim of the event is to get people talking to each other and raising money to tackle loneliness amongst our older population. Age UK encourages people to organise their own "chinwag" which could take many forms including a barbeque, cake sale, pub quiz, school get together - anything - use your imagination!The pennies we raise will go towards Age UK and help them deliver services to support more older people who need it.
Of course the RAT Group will be supporting this initiative on Friday (see poster above).
