Could every smart phone owner have telecare in their pocket?

iPhone app can send phone into "Mobile emergency attack and failsafe detection" mode. The system uses a smartphone's sensors to detect a potential emergency situation such as the owner being attacked or in a car accident. The system automatically requests help via a call or another method of communication. The system generates an emergency call list, or the user can do this manually. The system can also use it's inbuilt GPS to message the closest person on the emergency contact list.
