Too Old and Ugly to be Useful? Challenging Negative Representations of Older People

 The British Academy are launching a series of debates seen to be vital to the world we live in, with emphasis on humanities and social sciences. The first series focused on aging and the second debate happened on Tuesday 25th March, 2014.

RAT Group's Professor Gail Mountain attended the latter debate and dinner and said it was a "lively debate and very interesting." Professor Mary Beard, Professor of Classics, Newham College in Cambridge did a screen cast then appeared in person and sat with Gail at dinner.
