Patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy can successfully self-manage, but with certain caveats

Chris Littlewood and authors including RAT Group's Professor Sue Mawson have recently published a qualitative paper about self management and rotator cuff tendinopathy. 

The authors concluded that implementing "programmes of self-managed loaded exercise for patients with rotator cuff tendinopathy" in the real world... appears feasible but challenging" due to a variety of caveats that include responding to individual characteristics and implementing effective knowledge translation strategies.
