On Friday 7th March, Professor Gail Mountain was pleased to be
invited to attend a lunch in the University of Sheffield Firth Hall to celebrate International Women's Day to discuss the future of
feminism. The invitation came from Claire Pickerden, chair of the Women@TUOS
network. The panel of speakers included Libby Purves, journalist and radio
presenter. Gail found the debate interesting but was surprised that the
issues facing older women were not a point for discussion.
