Join the growing network of AAATE2017 Approved Partners

The AAATE is delighted to announce their latest Approved Partners: The All-Party Parliamentary Group for Assistive Technology (APPGAT), BATA, Hereward College and Communication Matters who are proudly supporting the 2017 Congress in Sheffield.

You can still join our growing list of AAATE2017 Approved Partner organisations.

The APPGAT aims to disseminate knowledge, generate debate and facilitate engagement on assistive technology amongst Members of both Houses of Parliament. We feel that this partnership will not only boost the prominence of the Congress but also the importance of AT as a whole.

BATA is the British Assistive Technology Association, a not for profit organisation whose members are made up of AT Professionals and organisations providing assistive technology solutions to those with disabilities. We’re delighted to have them on-board.

Hereward College, based in Coventry is a college for people with disabilities and additional needs. They offer inclusive provision and specialist facilities for both day and residential learners with complex disabilities and learning difficulties. After meeting them at another AT Conference we welcome their continued support.

Finally, we introduce Communication Matters, a UK-wide organisation committed to supporting people of all ages who find communication difficult because they have little or no clear speech. They’re holding their complementary Conference from 10th – 12th September 2017 at the University of Leeds. We’re delighted to offer AAATE2017 Conference delegates a reduction on their Communication Matters Conference registration.

You can still join our growing list of AAATE2017 Approved Partner organisations.

What’s in it for me?

If your organisation is interested in attending the AAATE2017 Congress, becoming an Approved Partner will unlock a discount on Conference registration for all of your members and employees. You will save 50 Euros per delegate, the same discount rate as members of the AAATE, which will be applied to any organisational registration. All we ask in return is that you promote the Congress.

How do I become an Approved Partner?

In order to become an Approved Partner and qualify for a special discount for your members you will need to:
  • Sign a Memorandum of Understanding.
  • Promote the Congress to your members/employees and share evidence of this with the AAATE.
In return for this promotion, we will acknowledge your support of our Congress through placing your organisation’s logo with a hyperlink to your website on our Congress website.
