CATCH member Matthew Bennion debates the future of digital therapies in IAPT services at Digital IAPT 2017

Matthew Bennion, CATCH PhD student attended the IAPT DIGITAL 2017 conference in London, 8th May 2017 and sat on a debate panel entitled: Disrupting IAPT, Changing the Game: players, managers and supporters discuss.




Matthew discussed his research with older adults and digital therapies and his thoughts regarding how the NHS could adapt to take full advantage of digital.

Delegates came from diverse backgrounds (doctors, allied health professionals, nurses, academics from the fields of healthcare).

There was a wide range of oral presentations relating to NHS digital pathways in IAPT services, personalisation of digital therapies, real-time tracking to prevent treatment failure in CBT and use of digital pathways to improve health professional stress levels.
