Telehealth implementation: what makes it successful?

It is difficult to implement telehealth into healthcare services. Fact.

Have you ever wondered why?

A number of attempts have been made to make this process easier. One of those is the invention of telehealth implementation toolkits. In short; a number of people have written documents outlining what they think will make the telehealth implementation easier.

So, in light of this, why is implementation still a problem?

A new report has been published by CLAHRC YH's Lauren Powell, Tim Ellis and Professor Sue Mawson, exploring what factors makes a successful telehealth implementation toolkit - according to a variety of NHS staff.

The report then further explores an example of a telehealth implementation toolkit: the "Ready, Steady, Go". It is here that a variety NHS staff further comment on this example of a telehealth implementation toolkit.
