Lab4Living is pleased to announce
the 3rd European Design4Health conference in Sheffield, 13-16 July
2015. Design4Health2015 explores the relationship between design, and
health and wellbeing. Our contributors are uniquely
placed at the interface of design in health practice and research,
bringing together designers and creative practitioners with researchers,
clinicians, policy makers and service users.
Over three days, our participants
will investigate creative approaches and perspectives to
enhance understanding and experience, and to improve the efficiency of
health and wellbeing services and products.
This
year’s conference focuses on methodologies, making and measurement. It
includes a peer-reviewed exhibition, our second 24Hr Inclusive Design
Challenge (looking
at the impact of Parkinson’s Disease), workshops and presentations.
Our keynotes presenters include Professor Gail Mountain, Professor of
Health Services Research at the University of
Sheffield and Professor Brendon McCormack, Head of Nursing at Queen
Margaret University Edinburgh.
Design4Health2015 is generously supported by Headline Sponsor Yorkshire & Humber Academic Health Science Network,
plus NIHR CLAHRC YH KYOTO Design Lab and Devices4HDignity. It is organised by Sheffield Hallam University’s
Lab4Living.
