Fancy a SHINDIG?

SHINDIG is a forum in Sheffield, that meets 4 times a year and aims to provide opportunities for people living with dementia, as well as their family and carers with various opportunities to share their ideas and opinions on services and recent developments.

The group is jointly organised with the Sheffield Alzheimer's Society and Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. 

The group is called a SHINDIG due to their lively, sociable and fun nature. The group tend to have a social lunch, then break into smaller groups to share their opinions/ideas. Staff are available to assist where appropriate and to take learning from the conversations, back to their own organisations.
