The Apple Watch

On Tuesday Apple's CEO Tim Cook announced the Apple Watch. It will monitor health and fitness, track movement and the user's heart rate with built in sensors. The information will be enabled to feed into Apple's Health app for the iPhone and iPad.

The smartwatch will be available in three editions: stainless steel, aluminum and 18c gold. There will be 6 different straps available and a quick remove clasp. They will all rely on bluetooth and iPhones to sync data and will be compatible with iPhones 5, 5C, 6 and 6plus. The smartwatch will be available early in 2015. In the US, the starting price will be $349.
