No more Nike Fuel Bands - end of an era?

Nike recently announced that they will no longer be continuing with their hardware business and that they will be focusing more on software. This means no more fuel bands! However what it does mean is that Nike will focus their efforts more towards fitness and athletic software, which analysts claim will still benefit the company in the long run. So could it be the end of an era? Or the beginning of new and exciting times for Nike?
