| Attendees enjoy some refreshments |
Tuesday 18th June saw the internal University of
Sheffield launch of CATCH (Centre for Assistive Technology and Connected Healthcare).
It was an opportunity to find out more about
CATCH and its future plans, including talks from two recent appointments
to the CATCH team, Professor Arlene Astell (ScHARR) and Dr Abigail Millings (Psychology).

There was a large audience of people from across the university,
reflecting the wide range of researchers who are currently researching and who are
interesting in getting involved in research for new user-friendly technology to
help people live independently at home for longer.
An external launch is planned for November, more details
will become available here soon.
